01 / About

Technology, design and culture — in one practice.

I'm Simone Locatelli, a full-stack developer and digital artist. I take ideas from first concept to production without separating product thinking, visual direction and engineering.

I'm interested in work where technology does more than sit behind the experience — it helps define how the product feels, communicates and behaves.

02 / Practice

From first idea to live system.

01

Direction

Shape the proposition, product logic and visual language before implementation starts deciding the product by accident.

02

Product

Turn the idea into architecture, user flows, interactions and interfaces that make the system understandable.

03

Engineering

Build the real application — frontend, backend, data, integrations, interactive 3D and the infrastructure around it.

04

Production

Test, deploy, measure and refine until the work operates outside the design file and development environment.

03 / Point of view

Technology should earn its place in the experience.

01

Clarity

Complex systems should become easier to understand through the product, not more complicated because of it.

02

Character

Function does not require neutrality. Visual and interaction decisions can give a digital product a point of view.

03

Reality

The work has to survive production: real users, real states, real devices, real constraints and continued iteration.

04 / Collaboration

I work best on ambitious ideas that need someone who can move across product, design and engineering without losing the thread.

That can mean building a new digital product, creating an interactive experience, developing infrastructure for a creative or social-impact project, or exploring something that does not fit neatly inside one discipline.
